Old email address?

You need access to the email address on your Spotify account to open the password reset link we email you.

Spotify is a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs. We and our partners use cookies to personalize your experience, to show you ads based on your interests, and for measurement and analytics purposes. Aug 15, 2017  But if you want your product on the Mac, which is not a closed ecosystem, and you don't wish to share the profit with Apple, you can distribute your product yourself and not use the Mac App Store. I'm not big on music services, Apple's or anyone else's, so I don't have direct knowledge that is or isn't the case with Spotify. Tried the reinstall spotify app instructions again including clearing caches and spotify application support folder, then tried downloading again and this came up. Trying to download app from 'reinstall spotify app instructions' Device and operating system: Macbook Air, 10.10.5 OSX. Premium spotify account. Cannot find app version i am using.

If you don't have access, here are some options:

  • Regain access to the email address if possible
  • Contact us and we can update the email address for you
  • Create a new account and start fresh

No account associated with email address?

If the password reset says there’s no account with the email you entered, try again with any other email addresses you have.

Note: There are a few ways to sign up e.g. with your email, phone number, Facebook, or Apple. Try logging in with these to find your account.

Invalid password reset link?

Reset your password again, but this time open the emailed link in a private or incognito browser.

Signing up or connecting with Apple means you can use Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple device passcode to log in.

To use an Apple login you need:

  • iOS 13 or later
  • An Apple ID that uses two-factor authentication
  • To be signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID

Note: If you hide your Apple ID email address when you sign up, Apple applies a unique, random address and forwards any emails from us to your real address.

I Can't Log Into Spotify

Note: You need to share your Apple ID email address to connect, and it must match your Spotify email address.

  1. On the Spotify login screen, tap Continue with Apple.
  2. Choose to share your email address.
  3. A pop-up confirms your Apple ID email address matches a Spotify account.
    Note: No pop-up means we couldn’t match an account. Check your Spotify email matches your Apple ID email and try again.
  4. Log in to your Spotify account how you usually do.
  5. Tap CONNECT ACCOUNT to agree to connect it to your Apple ID.

Can’t log in with Apple?

Create a Spotify password so you can log in with your email address instead.

  1. Go to our password reset form.
  2. Enter your email address.
    Note: If you hid your email, use the email address generated for you by Apple.
  3. Check your inbox for an email from us to reset your password.
